Topic: How to Sort by Album, Artist, Song name Like Itunes does?

When I'm playing a song using Itunes and want to play another song with the same Album name I only have to click on the song playing then click the tab Album and now the song I was just playing is now grouped with the rest of the songs in the album name list and the song I'm currently playing stays in the browser list window at the top.
If I try that in VDJ 7.3 the song I'm playing disapears in the browser list and now I have to scroll all the way to the album name to find other songs with the same album name. WHY does this happen or is there a setting I don't know about?? So basically it doesn't sort by fields while keeping the song your playing visable in the browser window. Thanks for any help in advance!

I don't know anything about I products, but why can't you select album in the search field? The little magnifying glass next to the search window, select which ever criteria you want.

I know I can always use the search window and type in the album or artist name but this is what I mean.... play a song on VDJ now click on let's say the artist tab or the album tab now the song you are playing is not in the browser window and VDJ not sorted that tab field in alphabetical order starting at the very top. Now try to go back to the song your playing you will have to either type it in the search box or scroll all the way to where the song is listed in the browser window. In Itunes no matter what field tab I click on the song stays right on the browser screen just resorted to what tab I clicked on! That's faster then typing in the name of artist, album or song name.
 
I'm sorry, I don't understand your issue, so will let someone else take a crack at it.
 
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone think this should be in VDJ? Anyone?
 
I understand what he is saying! No, there is no setting to allow you to do this! Maybe in VDJ8 there will be.
