You could give VirtualDJ 8 a try.

I have used a mc3000, the sound through my main pa system was perfect. Hence it is likely that VDJ 7, and Denon drivers are fine. I do remember having crackles and pops on my home practice system. Check all your gains, I think that was my problem. Use the amp. volume on full, or at least high.
I bought a 1/8" jack to 1/8" jack lead for my home system, and was amazed to find that at times it could produce quite a high quality echo effect ! It also produced random distortion ? Replacing the lead completely cleared up these sound issues.
Earth loops can also cause sound issue problems.
Anyway check your gains, and leads.
Adion mentions using VDJ 8.. it is vastly superior to VDJ 7.
