Hi, I’ve just bought Virtual DJ Pro Basic & then Virtual Dj Pro FULL in an attempt to connect my Pioneer CDJ 400’s & Behringer DDM4000 mixer . I’m struggling with the ASIO Sound Setup configuration, can anyone help? The message “Error in the ASIO sound driver: Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect” opens everytime I try to select ASIO.
I'm following the process below, within the VDJ Wiki link, but it's not working.

I'm connecting the CDJ 400's to my laptop with USB cables, the 400's to the mixer & then out to the speakers. I've also update the latest data to the 400's so "PC" mode is fully up-to-date.
What am I doing wrong, do I need an external soundcard? Is this whats causing the problem?
I'm needing my setup to work for a party on Saturday, can anyone help/advise?
Rgds, Andy

Have you installed the Pioneer ASIO drivers for the CDJ-400s? You're not using ASIO4ALL for example?
Try using VDJs advanced mode, create two outputs (one for each deck) and assign one to the 1st CDJ and the other to the 2nd.

Hi,
Ye I installed the Pioneer CJD ASIO, but after I installed VDJ. Could this be the problem? Maybe I should uninstall VDJ & then re-install it with the Pioneer CDJ400 ASIO installed first.
You don't think its because I need a sound card or anything like that though?
Cheers,
Andy

Your CDJ-400s have sound cards onboard, so you don't need another one.
That is what you're trying to do - send the VDJ audio from each (virtual) deck to the CDJ-400s via USB and then from the CDJ-400 RCA outputs into the DDM4000?

I'm still getting a error message, this time saying "Error in the ASIO sound driver: Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect."
Any advise with what I should do with the CDJ400/ DDM4000 mixer/ VDJ?

First, make sure, the INPUTs are set to ..NONE in the Sound setup.
If you still get the error in the Sound setup, re install the drivers for the CDJs.

Thanks Guys,
I've got the sound eventually going through the CDJ400's & mixer to the speakers.
However, how do I now setup the CDJ400’s & VDJ so that I can use the buttons on the decks, like cue & the jog wheel, to control VDJ on screen? I've gone into configuration and Mapping/Mapper, but I can’t get anything to link/sync with my the CDJ400 controls. Any hints to get me started?

You should be able to see the CDJ400 in Config->Mappers drop down list, along with the keyboard.
If not, make sure your CDJs are turned to MIDI mode.
