Hi, so I'm trying to map my vci400 to do this: If you press the pfl button on each channel then obviously you hear that channel on the headphones, but then if non of the channels have the pfl button pressed, then automatically switch to monitor the mater output (headphone_mix 100%).
But maybe I won't always want it like that, so on the "master headphone button" I want it to set the preference of whether to switch to the master or just to stay silent.
So basically, the channel pfl buttons will always override the master pfl button and you will only ever hear the master pfl if there are no channel pfl buttons pressed and the master pfl is illuminated.
Any ideas? I've been messing with it for hours and I just can't get it sorted how I'd like it!
Thanks :-D

Hey Andy,
I'm not sure it's a good idea to set the headhone mix to an absolute level with the pressing of a button, it is much wiser to have the mix on a knob so you can freely adjust the level to suit what you are wanting to focus your attention on in the mix. that said this should get you close. I have added that you can press the pfl butons to get a deck in pfl, or hold for half a second to select the deck focus. the other thing that happens is when you press any of the pfl buttons you will change the mix back to 40%, this number can be anything you like.
In regards to the LEDs if the deck is selected the pfl button will blink, if the deck is just in pre fade listening the led will be on. The master led will be on if the mix is at 100% or off otherwise
I haven't been able to test it so hopefully it all works, but let me know if there is anything that needs to be changed and we can sort something out.
PFL Button
holding ? select & headphone_mix 40% : pfl & headphone_mix 40%
PFL Button LED
select ? blink 500ms : pfl ? on : off
PFL MASTER Button
headphone_mix 40% ? headphone_mix 100% : headphone_mix 40%
PFL MASTER LED
headphone_mix 100% ? on : off
