I'm trying to use the "Key_smooth" action on a knob to change the key of a sample on the fly. Works great, but I need more range. Is there another way to make the key go up at least another 24 semitones?

Sorry, this is not possible.
The only way you could currently do this is to edit it using audio editing software that has this capability. Although at these extremes, the sound quality will probably be poor.
The other option is to turn off keylock and increase the pitch of the song to make the key adjustment. Obviously, the overall tempo will increase/decrease appropriately though.

there are a couple of pitch vst plugins available on the net, you could use one of those coupled with vdj, but you would need one hell of a processor to avoid a grainy sound..
