You could use Shoutcast.
With Shoutcast you are able to create your own streaming Server.
The "server" will be your PC system, to which listeners can connect via your external IP.

For more information visit the shoutcast faq:

WAY TOO COMPLICATED. there needs to be a "for dummies" explanation

You won't find much in the way of FREE when it comes to over 25 listeners. Even Shoutcast has this limitation. The idea is that your show takes off and you need to broadcast to more listeners. More listeners equals more bandwidth usage, and more bandwidth needs to be paid for by somebody.

What's your daily radio show about? Type of music? Who are you trying to reach?

right now i have 25 listenners (plus)daily. people tell me they can't get on. too many listeners.... i do a daily lunch time mix 12-2pm central...i know its free and paying 9.99 a month will boost me up to 75 and remove ads.

Gotta love those cougars!

Let us know how you make out.

what about ustream.tv? It does allow for only audio broadcasts and is editable by putting you own logo instead of a video. Its also simple to use and FREE.
