Topic: how to add decks to VDJ ???

hi, I've just downloaded VDJ home on one of my computers. I really like it, but i'm not using it as a DJ mixer but as a Radio console (That means, I play one song at the time. No scratch etc...) Actually, I want to create an internet radio in the future.

After a bunch of frustrating hours on Google looking out for a Live Mixing virtual console, All the software I found, except VDJ, have only two decks. That's great for the parties, but, for a Internet radio, I want a little more channels....
VDJ says it can support 99 decks... GREAT ! But, How to add all these decks ??? (I mean, in some others softwares like Samplitude, you can add more channels in seconds via the option menu...)

So I wanted to know, Is there a way to add more decks to VDJ but to stay in the 4 decks layout, with faders, PFL, and equaliser for every decks ???? Like a radio broadcasting console.
And, otherwise, is there any virtual mixer on the web that works like this ???
Also, Is there any way to set the keyboard so One key will start playing in One specific deck ? like F1 for deck one, F2 for deck two ect... And not only the space-bar for the selected deck ?

The number of decks is directly related to the skin you are using.
 
So, Even if the free version says "Up to 99 decks" I can't get more than 4 decks because I can't download any Skin and that my screen is a 1280*800...
But OK. Well, 4 decks in just enough for an Internet radio, If I start this project... Perhaps i'll buy one of the Payware version of VDJ later and look for a nice skin with plenty of decks....

It should also noted that if you broadcast with the free home version it will work for only 10 mins..........also if you buy the PRO version VDJ has 3 different radio channels that I'm sure you can do a radio show on (I have my own on ch2).

Ok.

You have a radio show ?? Can you tell me what to do ? I mean for the server, how people can listen to you. And then, do you have to pay for the songs you play. If yes, how do you do with all this copyright stuff ? I want to play Classics hits (60's 70's and 80's) most of the time...

But if I buy one, I think I'll buy the Broadcaster version... I don't want yo spend a lot on things I don't really use like video etc...

Skins are also user creatable so you could always try creating something yourself - you have to expect to make a bit of effort given that it is a free version ;)
