Imma have to agree here. ZZ TOP and Prince were the best in recent memory.

Awe come on how could you guys forget about Janet Jackson and Timberlake, lol!! Yes the boob popping out was great but they put on a decent show aswell.

ZZ TOP were before my NFL days (they didn't start showing NFL in Denmark until around 2000), but I agree that Prince is the best I've seen. I still can't belive he managed to play like that with rain dripping of his guitar...

I'm a soccer fan, and had the disappointing experience of having the BEP also do the opening ceremony for the last World Cup Opener, HOLY COW DID THAT SUCKED!
So, I was already expecting this super bowl to be the sucketh.
That being said, WTH happened to the mics? the lights, the cues?, there were so many FAILs, it's like they just hired a bunch of do-it-yourself'rs to do this.
They should have had Tiesto and his crew do the sound, ever seen that guy's concerts? they know how to put sound and lights together, that way BEP and Usher could have just lipsync and jump around with some moves, which that's what they can do. (at least usher dances a bit better, BEP have no real dance moves)
IMO they over did it with having so many people with light up suits. Half of the "V" on "love" wasn't lighting up.
