I am picking up some QSC K10 powered mains along with a QSC HPR151i Powered Sub. I plan on running my full signal into the HPR151i and using it's 100HZ High Pass active crossover to send the remaining signal to my mains. I plan on running the K10's at the flat DSP setting. Hopefully this will allow the mains to concentrate on reproducing clear and well separated mids and highs. The guy i am buying the speakers from said he has BBE MaxCom available he would throw in with the speakers if I wanted it. I have read mixed reviews about. Lots of people love it and say it creates a much fuller and well seperated sound others say you should not run a MaxCom with Powered speakers. Does anybody have experience with this piece of equipment or know if it is OK to use with powered speakers?
TIA :)
FYI I am using a Numark Mixtrak Pro.

Dont bother with the BBE. Especially with QSC powered speakers, they have built in digital eq and the BBE unit will only force them to try and correct the signal. However with a passive set up the BBE units are amazing to how they can change the sound. Very clear and punchy but if you have a digital eq it sounds why worse.
I own the BBE sonic maximizer 882i that i tried to use with my powered setup i have now, guess what, its out of my rack now. no use for it
