Topic: Audio 4 DJ, 4 channel mixer, two turntables, and VDJ Setup problem!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey everyone! I'm having a little bit of an issue getting my new mixer to play nice with my NI Audio 4 Dj, turntables, and VDJ....

What I'm trying to do is use 2 of the channels for my turntables (timecodes) and then use 2 virtual decks on VDJ through the other 2 channels. Is this possible? If it is can anyone explain how to set this up because I am absolutely clueless?

My mixer is a behringer DJX750 is that helps

Thanks in advance!

This is what your setup should look like.
2 Turntables, 1 mixer.
Your turntables are plugged into your soundcard with 4 inputs 4 ouputs. (Maya44 is a popular choice)
Then, your soundcard will go into the mixer.
I think you get it from there. When you put the timecodes on,
VDJ will recognize it an Voila

You could use 4 decks but you could only use two channels, decks 1&3 on left and 2&4 on right.
