This is an old thread from the end of last year, however in answer to your question and the original questions:
Assuming that you have a computer that meets or exceeds the recommended requirements shown on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/index.html then make sure that you have the latest v7.0.2 Pro installed http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html and under CONFIG -> Performances you have the Fast Resampling option selected for 48Hz conversion.
The breaks in songs may be due to performance issues with your computer and/or incorrect configuration in VirtualDJ. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html for a list of common causes of performance issues and their solutions.
If you get 'Error' when trying to load a song, then it means that the song in your database is no-longer valid. This is usually caused by either moving, renaming or deleting the song outside of VirtualDJ, so the entry in its database no-longer points to a valid file.
To fix this problem, use VirtualDJ to browse to the drive(s)/folder(s) where your music is located, right-click on them and choose Add to search DB.
Once you have done this, go to CONFIG -> Browser, choose each drive in turn where you have music stored and click on CHECK.
If any problems are found, click on FIX.
You can remove the old redundant database entries by clicking on CLEAN.
NOTE: If you have not already done so, you should update your DN-MC6000's firmware and drivers to the latest version from http:/www.denondj.com
