This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey everybody just looking for some tips on setting up time code on the pioneer CDJ 1000's using the audio 8 dj sound card, iv'e been trying for quite some time now and can't seem to set them up. Is it the sound card. The maya 44 looks so easy to setup.
Thanx Guy's

I have the Audio8DJ and I run vinyl timecode thru it. What kind of problems are you having? Is it possible that you have the preamps on Channel A and B set up incorrectly? Default, the phono preamps are on, that plus your CDJ TC signal would saturate the input.

I use cdj with Maya 44 soundcard. Whenever I cue a song using cdj1000, the beat keeps jumping. Any solution?

could be somthing simple i actully went out and bought the proper cables used with the the audio 8, hooked it up like tracktor but sill no joy. On my mixer what shoud i have the channels on ( line or phono ) does it matter?

you need to set the mixer input to line or the signal wont come through. The sound card needs to be set to line as well if your using TC cd's with a cdj1000. You would only use phono for an analogue turntable.

i'm running V7 Got it working on sat i think??? Got 100% on both decks. I use the total control and its excellent on pin pointing beats with the control wheels cue, play, etc, i'm just thinking is time code going to be the same. When i hooked up time code to the cdj1000's Cue and Play wasn't great and the jog wheel was rubbish is this time code?? if so i'm very disappointed.
