Hi! My names Gabii! And I'm new to Dj'ing. I bought this package and I have it now, http://123dj.com/specials/cdm3610partypack.html <<It was a great deal, but all my music is on my labtop..so I connected it to my labtop, and I use virtual DJ. Ok, but the problem is my Gemini CDM-3610 has the effect scratch, but when I use scratch on the CDM-3610, it doesnt scratch the song that I am playing from Virtual DJ. Could anyone please help?

You will need to purchase a soundcard to use timecode cds since that gemini cd player is not a controller. Purchase a soundcard like the versaport,maya 44,audio 4 dj etc.

Unfortunately it cannot be used to control VirtualDJ because it is not MIDI capable and also lacks the separate line outputs for each deck that are required to be able to use it with timecode CD's.
However, if you are only looking to use it as a standard audio DJ mixer for VirtualDJ (I.e: Control the software with your mouse/keyboard and use the mixer to manipulate manipulate volume, bass/high EQ, etc. of the audio from the VirtualDJ decks only), then it can be used for this purpose. Simply connect the output from your sound card to the line inputs on the back of the mixer.
