when you click record vdj use the last filename and prompt to overwrite or not, this is boring as you have to go to the record panel then click confing and then manualy enter here a new filename... click ok then record again and do your set...
why not an option that can generate a new filename when clik record. maybe something that add date date & time to the default filename be perfect
exemple :
mymix_18-07-2010_130125.mp3
name, date then hhmmss so basicaly we can record as many track without the hassle of retyping again and again and saving us using the keyboard ?
not too difficult to implement and a good option for record junkies like me ...

Work Around iDea, Just Re-Name the file yourself using the method you describe for now each time you complete a session.

i allready type a different name like this each time i record but it'll be easy to implement such a feature in 3 minutes for any coder ...
maybe a checkbox in the record panel to add timestamp to filename on record ...
it's Wishes and new features forum , here's one wishe ^^
