Hey,
I'm new to the djing world and i need some help finding an ENTRY level contoller for my djing needs.
I'm working on Virtual DJ 5.2 MAC so what would be my best options. I'm also not looking to spend over 300 dollars.

Please update to the latest v6.1 trial http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html
Hercules DJ Consoles are highly recommended and come with a free DJ Console Edition of VirtualDJ (This can be optionally upgraded to the full Pro at a discount.)
If you are on a budget, then the MK4 (Has built-in DJ sound card) or MP3e2 (No sound card) would be the best choice.
Otherwise, the RMX (Sound card) or Steel (No sound card) - The RMX/Steel also gives a greater discount off upgrading to Pro (50%)

Ive been looking at the mp3 e2 and I'm fond of the price and look. But will i need to purchase an external soundcard as well?

Yes, if you wish to headphone pre-listen then you would need to purchase an external DJ sound card. The MP3e2 has no built-in sound card.
Alternatively, you can use the mono split option in VirtualDJ with the single sound card in your laptop, but that will only give you MONO sound.
If you can afford it, you should get the MK4 that has its own built-in DJ sound card.

I don't think that controller is supported in version 5. Chances are it is a cracked version you're using.
As Jon says, trial the latest version which is far better, especially in controller support and if you like it please purchase the software.

Hi guys I am new to the DJ world, I recently acquired a MAC G3 OS X 10.4. Does anyone know where I can download Virtual DJ 5.2 MAC as the new version 6.1 cannot work with the G3 running on 10.4?
