I'm looking for an effect (or sample) to do scratch-exits with.
A biot like the brake effect but then with a needle scrachting noise, just like you wiped the needle arm away abusly.
Anyone know of such thing?

You could just record your own, just use an old needle and do what you want. But I'm sure if you google it youll find that effect.

The song "Suat" by De La Soul has the exact sound you're looking for at the beginning of the song plus someone saying "you know we got a party man, get the other record". I cut and pasted that part and use it as a sample.

I made a typo in my previous post, the song is called "Squat". Just play the track in VDJ and use the sampler to record the section of the song you want and save it.

crap, i never thought of using tha sampler to record.
honestly, i record samples using the main record feature and save them to my desktop then add them to the library.
never mind, i know now.
