This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

MAC NOT WORKING WITH DJM5000. For some reason i can get sound only out of one channel on my mixing board. I have switched my configurations to ext. mixer. I have chosen Mono - DLM5000. I would like a stereo sound though not mono. Also Please let me know what I am doing wrong? I am also running the pioneer mep-7000 system as well. I also do not see any of the faders on my skin move with the mixing board. I know on my pc everything has work flawlessly. I did download and install the drivers from pioneers website for both the mep and djm-5000 on my mac as well. Please help

My guess is it will be something to do with setting up an Aggregate sound card.

I am no expert on this. Hopefully someone will chime in to help who has had more experience with those. Or try searching the forum.

With the Mac environment you need to create aggregate devices the majority of the time for a sound card.

You will need to create a 4 out aggregate and then chose the 4-out card in the soundcard drop-down then chose the aggregate device in the second drop-down.
