OK; I don't have a Maya44 PCI so couldn't test it and your screenshots didn't show it ;)

I think that on the screenshots it's obvious that I don't use at all any soundblaster and on this post... we don't talk for a soundblaster.

I don't understand your point; the soundblaster isn't the only 4.1 capable card. What I am saying is that I didn't know that the Maya44 PCI was not 4.1 capable and your pictures did not show that - they showed it didn't appear as two cards.

Exactly my friend!
This is the point!
A low cost and simple soundblaster has two separate outputs and MAYA 44 don't (on win 7).
The old MAYA44 (from audiotrack) has two separate outputs.
But the new one Maya44 (with the white board) don't let you select between the two seperate stereo outputs (unless you use it on Asio Mode).
I contact by phone with ESI (in Germany), I asked them to check their forum where other persons (like me) face the same problem.
I hope in the next days, they will solve this problem.

Have you tried going to Windows SOUND settings, and configuring the MAYA in Quad or 5.1 mode ?

Just an idea here as I don\'t have the Maya either, but this usually works for "regular" soundcards in order to use then as 4.1 card in VDJ...

My friend, I think that some of my problems get solved today.
After too much push, the European technical support from ESI, told me a little tip.
Something that noone knows!
Except of the developers who designs the drivers.
When the sound card says "SPDIF" it's a problem of windows displaying and it means "2nd channel".
So you can use MAYA as multichannels.
All you have to do, is select SPDIF when you want to use the second stereo output of the card.

The problem solved.
I contact with the UK technical support and they suggest me to de-activate from bios the "Cool 'n' Quiet" of the mothrboard.
NOW IT WORKS PERFECT.
PS: The german support of ESI ingore my e-mails. Thank GOD on UK they jave better support!
