Hi guys,
I have Virtual DJ 6.0.7 pro + Numark Stealth (all-in-one controller: http://rekkerd.org/img/articles/numark_stealth_control.jpg) AND I just bought a USB soundcard DJ Io (http://www.synthtopia.com/content/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/numark-dj-io.jpg). I bought it, because I wanted to be able to pre-listen the other track, while the main track is playing through speakers.
But my problem is that, now I can hear the sounds from the two decks... but only in the headphones, and the sound from the master channel doesn't come out from my computer or from speakers that I connect through my computer...
Do I have to connect speakers with a RCA cable in the output 1 of my DJ Io so that i could hear the master channel in the speakers, or should I do something else?
Thankyou in advance.
Julien

This depends how you configured the Audio setup in Virtual DJ. Ideally, you should have something like this:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone > Master: 1/2, Headphone 3/4
-Soundcard: ASIO > DJ IO
With your speakers connected to Output 1, and headphone to Output 2
You could configure VDJ to use 2 soundcards ( the computer's + the DJ IO) but I would highly recommend sticking to 1 soundcard, since this give you better results (the DJ IO was designed for this after all...).l

Yeah that's exactly how I set up the VDJ audio setup.
But I didn't connect speakers to the output number one of my USB soundcard...
I am going to mix tonight at a party, so I'm gonna see if it's working ;)
I was just confused why I couldn't hear the sound of the master channel on my computer speakers as usual... Is it because I plugged the soundcard and thus, the sound only comes from speakers that are connected to it? :o

Just use DJ|IO it would be better. Connect 1&2 Outputs as MASTER out and 3&4 or Headphones to connect in there your headphones. The above configuration is for DJ|IO use only, not for 2 sound card operation. Even if you connect both soundcards, Computer will go Master in one, while headphones is going o be on 1&2 outs and not in 3&4. Connect just your DJ|IO for Master + Headphones use.

Again..another user with the same issue. Notonly does VDJ Pro not with DJio (as ACW tried to use on my computer) It does not work with the sound card of the VCI-300. I am expierencing the same problem with MAC and PC with the VCI-300 and trying to use the Numark DJio. I wonder..I am going to disconnect the VCI-300...and see if VDJ will work with just the DJio on PC. VDJ tech support told me that there are not good drivers for DJio and MAC. I will test tomorrow.

DJ|IO drivers for MAC OS 10.6.2 are not finished and still in beta testing. But If you got Mac OS 10.5.8 or before, then you can use DJ|IO with the non beta drivers.

I want to get both the output 1 &2 on the djio to work as the master output in VDJ LE 7.4.1. How do I do that?

Not sure if its possible (never tried it to be honest), but in theory you could have 2 lines of Master in the Advanced Sound Setup
Advanced Sound setup is on option in CONFIG->Sound Setup -->Outputs
so something like this..
Master .... Numark DJio Chans 1,2
Master .. Numark DJio..Chanss 3,4
and add any other lines you need below them.
But if not mistaken the 2nd stereo Output of the Numark DJio is the same Output with the Headphones one, so if you use the above Sound Setup , you will need to use an additional sound card for prelistening.
