Hi. I own Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 (+ Virtual DJ DJCEdition 1.0.2 MP3e2 bundled). It is allowed to use included software in old full VDJ1 mode or in new VDJ6pro for testing (20 days). So I switched it to new for try. I like that new, because old full v1 is very very bad - crackling sound :(! I am thinking of full VDJ6pro, but ... I saw it - full VDJ6pro on other DJ's PC and it seems there is different mapping of DJC M3 e2 console keys! But I like mapping as it is on my 20 days trial now. What now? Can you help me please, how to edit "Hercules DJConsole MP3e2 mapping.xml" file to learn full VDJ6pro to works like my VDJ testing edition? Is it possible? On my DJ Control console, there are four keys on upper left (right) corner - keys 1, 2, 3, 4. I like their behaviour on my bundled VDJ (20 days trial) , but don't like them on friend's full VDJ6. When I push them on my version (in loops mode), they are automatic doing loops (1=short loop, 2=longer, 3=much longer, ...), in fx mode they are doing (1=flanger, 2=beat grid, 3=flipping double, 4=over loop). I like it that way very very much! But on friends VDJ6pro full, they are doing something different. Is it possible to edit mapper file to learn pro version to communicate with my console like my test version? I think that other option is to take mapper file from my version and put it to full 6 version, but my version has no one mapper files although it is working perfectly with my console. I don't know what do do. How to edit that XML file to be just like I need? Can anybody help me please, pleeease?

Thank you for help. But this tip not working for me. After installation, drivers are new, but "virtualdj_djc.exe" file is missing. Return to old 1.0.2 was necessary. :( Has anybody proper XML mapper of DJ Control MP3 e2 for VDJ6pro, which using the same keys mapping (keys 1,2,3,4) as bundled software? Bundled VDJ1 is ugly soft with perfect (for me) mapping of DJC e2. VDJ6pro is great soft, but it seems, with different mapping of DJC. :( Has anybody VDJ6pro connected with DJC MP3 e2? Is this mapping on your version like I described above? Does exist some way to edit that mapping XML file to work with 1-4 keys like I need? Can you help me how, please? I am really thinking about better new version of VDJ, but this is important for me, I am beginner. Thank you.
 
hey im also trying to remap my e2 i did something to mess it up and deleated the whole map lol so i starter from scratch but what i did with the loop is

<note note="1" action="loop_in" chan="1" value="auto" />
<note note="2" action="loop_out" chan="1" value="auto" />
<note note="3" action="loop" chan="1" value="-125" />
<note note="4" action="loop" chan="1" value="+125" />

where 1 sets the loop start then you push 2 and it sets the end 3 cuts the length 50% and 4 doubles the loop.
 
also when you purchase vdj you can download a e2 map that has it all set out already then you can use vdj's autolearn option to edit it to your liking that way or use could manually rewrite the xlm file in notepad or adobe dreamweaver
 
You can reset the mapping back to factory default by going to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the MP3e2 in the drop-down list and click the reset to factory settings button at the bottom-left of the Mappers dialogue box.

While your Pro trial remains active, you can then customise it via the CONFIG -> Mappers dialogue.
