Topic: CONNECTING NUMARK NDX800 CD/MIDI CONTROLLER

Need help connecting 2 ndx800s to virtual vinyl program. Would like to control the software with these!!! When i scan for new devices in VV the program seems like its not detecting them. Please help!!! do i need a mapper for these?! Right now i have total control and akai mpd 26 controlling the software.

The NDX800 is not yet supported in VirtualDJ or the Numark CUE/VirtualVinyl versions.

The definition and mappers will be available in the near future.
 
thanks for the response. I was able to map the majority of functions on one controller using the simple midi mapper and the VDJ script guide. However i cant map a 2nd NDX800 because the program doesnt recognize it as a separate controller. I hope VDJ comes out with the support for the NDX800s soon!!! thanks again!
 
I was able to map them fine but I'm having the same issue where VDJ only recognizes the two NDX800's as one controller.

BTW my workaround was to map the switch located under the screen to activate the left and right deck. In other words, when I select left, it activates the left deck. When I select to the right, it activitates the right deck.

2 Numark NDX800, 2 Technic 1200 MKII, Behringer DJX750, Total Control, Toshiba 4 GB Centrino 300 GB HD, Virtual DJ, Sony Acid Pro 6, (speakers, lights, etc not included)
 
that maybe good short term around the issue tony, until the ndx800 gets supported.....whennn tho???? lol
 
How do you go about mapping these ? I cant see any option for configing the controller.
When I plugged the NDX 800 in using a usb it didnt do anything at all.
I assumed i could only use one of these units so I only tried plugging one into my computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Numark NDX is natively supported (Plug and play) in the latest VirtualDJ v7.0.3 Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

You can try it out before purchasing for 10 minutes at a time in VirtualDJ Home FREE: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html

NOTE: After 10 minutes, Home FREE will revert back to mouse and keyboard control only until you next restart the software.
