Hi isyahtiger87

I use two programs first Total Commander and then KJ file manager by Latshaw for Karaoke files to futher check dup's down to MFG., Disc#. and track numbers or there maybe someother veriation that would make that track different so careful attention is needed for Karaoke files.

Hi Joey,

Yes, it's a text file. I was under the impression that the "remove duplicates" action failed becuase it was a bug, but since it is apparently not a bug, I will just write an app that will remove the duplicates from the saved playlist.

Thanks for all the help

Hey abeukes

Very cool, once you write it and use it would you let me know how it all worked out for you.

Thanks

Not familair with Total Command. Does it work well and how does it handle mp3's. While thinking of it is there a good tag proggie out there as well that would seem to help me with dupes as well.

DuplicateFilesDeleter is a simple, but effective tool to locate duplicate files in one or more selected search paths. It scans the files and compares them based on Byte for Byte Comparison, which ensures 100% accuracy. You can then choose to delete the selected duplicate or original files. The program is multi-threaded and performs scans quickly.
