My DXM06 with i've used for 2 years with almost no problems, has one HUGE shortcoming.... I HATE the x-fader for scratching. Instead, when I would do 'hiphop' gigs that would require scratching, i'd use my denon dnx100 (Which in my opinion is AMAZING for the money and feel you get, its exactly like the higher RANE units imho)
Anyways, the DXM06's sound effects are spot on, sounds amazing, and i've used them at every gig. The Cueing is done through a mini crossfader, so you can really get control of how much either channel is playing when you are cueing. The kill buttons really hype up the house music, and helps with some hip hop as well. The only thing missing is a scratch friendly x-fader.
Well, today after seeing that the dnx100 is replaced with the dnx120, and after researching it there seems to be 'NOTHING' new about it, I looked towards numarks site, and saw the x6. Read a review or 2 (Not much on this mixer!) and saw a youtube video on it. For the money, it can't hurt!
I'll be giving it a deeper and fair review as soon as I get my hands on it.
