Topic: New Pioneer high level CDJ, more info 17th September 2009 - Page: 4

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

After seeing that last vid, I'm quite sure it has to have an internal hard drive for you to store your tracks. I just hope you can insert your own drive without too much trouble if it's really true. :')

Im wondering if its gonna be able to act as a mass storage device and a midi/hid controller at once. THAT might change things up :) then it would be an external drive for vdj and a control surface

It can have the biggest HD in the world. The fact is, its alot better to see all your songs at once with a laptop's bigger screen

I hear that ;)
But if its such a dawn of a new specie, dont rule out it might have vga out ;)

Or else it would be what previous CD players already have ..

It might VERY well have built in software and vga out

That would be nice if they have their own individual VGA outputs. Searching for your next track would be alot easier and faster.

it will have a blu-ray drive i think HDMI but i think it will be very had to replace a laptop and if it cost more then $1200 dollars laptop will stay on top.and if they think just going to put a blu-ray drive in there and sell it for $2000 laptop will rule, right now you can get a laptop with blu-ray drive for under a $1000.and the only way i'm going to buy this thing is if it has video out.

hum...

sounds a bit like it has connection to a PC, with a software. Definitively has a software side to it

ok

I am mixing videoclips of all kinds (mkv,vob,avi,mp4,wmv etc)

Can this machine play these files?
Can this machine mix them with the way virtual-dj aligns bpm?

No I don't think so.

This machine is not for mobile-wedding djs. Pioneer has mep-system for that.

It's for clubs only.

I think Armin Van Buuren , James Zabiela and all the rest djs , they don't want to carry cds anymore.

I wonder what all these people denied to get into the software-laptop-djing, will do now?

it almost looks like the "software side" will require the usb key

it's probably their way of preventing cracks, either way I think this confirms midi/hid support.

This is kinda crazy though
I really want to see it insteed of the previews lol
I bet is some alien out of space dj equiptment haha

Also, i think its gonna cost alot of money but maybe it'll be worth it

22h 22m 22s to go .
