So my trial for VDJ 5.2.2 ran out, and I now notice the limited (or should I say no) preferences left.
The one biggest pet peeve I don't like with the limited version.. is it doesn't reset pitch settings, so when I load a new track onto my RMX, i gotta remember to reset pitch.
Is there anyway available options left (i doubt there is with the limited version) to have it automatically reset settings, or am I going to have to drop $160 and get the upgrade for this?

I dropped $300 on this program & would do it again in a heartbeat!
I've made more money DJ'ing since I've got this program than the previous 20+ yrs I've been spinning, so man up people! (I was introduced to VDJ by a fellow DJ using a crack)
But jeez peeps if you are serious about DJ'ing then get serious about actually buying the product! I make $300+ a night spinning so what is the big issue with people not having the cash for VDJ? For what it does, it is by far the most cost effective software available, bar none.
My two cents bro!
Cheers!

But let me flip the switch and say, what if this isn't a paying gig/lifestyle? Just a hobby, you know?

Are you using it for home use or pro use ie: Have residences or pro gigs?

I just spent $500 on a kayak, and I don't do that professionally...just sayin' you gotta decide what your priorities are in life. For what this software does it is a bargoon!

When it come s to DJ ying. Everything you buy is an Investement. What is 160 or 300 bucks... Nothing.... You book a gig and get the money back. I have spent thousands of dollars on equipment and everything is already paid off.

I see you are running the Mac version.
The trial on the cd can be run once and we are not able to reset it.
Only other option is to trial on a different machine.
The RMX version is boxed with Limited Edition software which is upgradable.
Feel your pain though, the RMX upgrade is the best deal we offer except for those crossgrading from other pro versions.
To have a decent controller/sound interface and pro software for that kind of money is a deal whether you are a pro dj or bedroom remixer.
Theres lots of other reasons to become a pro when you can afford it also.

What are your other issues between Pro & limited? (besides the not resetting)

I appreciate your understanding.
In all honesty, it really isn't about the money aspect.
I was just kind of asking a theoretical type of question. Is it worth it, etc.
In the long run, I'll most likely end up switching to PRO, just because I really am starting to enjoy VDJ and the RMX way too much. With the RMX discount, it comes out to $149 correct?
Thanks

depending on your computer backup and reformat
your trial should then work for the full duration of the trial period.
Remember trials may not have the full set of features found in full programs.
This is the most progressive DJ software and with the free updates and support its well worth buying and supporting.
