Hey, I tried running my iPod white 30 GB yesterday with my Hercules RMX and Virtual DJ. I tried ASIO mode and everything with the control panel , and it still has not worked. I have all the necessary cables...can someone provide a step by step tutorial on how to do this? It would be much appreciated! I have a SONY VAIO btw

If you are using Virtual DJ included with the Rmx, and you want to use you iPod as an externmal source, all you have to do is:
- Connect your iPod to the Input 1/2, on the back of the console with the switch set to LINE
- In the Rmx control panel, make sure that INPUT CHANNEL 1-2 is set to LINE IN/PHONE
- Launch VDJ
- For Deck A, press the SOURCE 1 button on the console (should lit up) and press play on your IPod. Normally, the audio signal should come out of your speakers and headphone, as if you were playing an MP3 file in VDJ.
If your are using the PRO version of VDJ, proceed in the same way, but verify that the audio configuration in VDJ is as follow:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone > Master Chan 1&2 / Headphone Chan 3&4
-Soundcard: DJ Console RMX > Check the box "Apply EQ on external source"
- Connect your iPod to the Input 1/2, on the back of the console with the switch set to LINE
