Hey. Are you trying to alter the pitch of his voice? If thats the case you can achieve that in 2 ways.

1. Using the pitch slider

When u open up VDJ and load the track you want to edit, look for the slider beside the turntable platter. Thats called a pitch slider. There are 2 modes for that slider. It can first be used as a regular pitch slider, and moving it will alter the speed as well as the pitch of the song. You can also enable 'master tempo' and alter the speed of the song without altering the pitch.

If your purpose is get the 'strong sound' of the vocals, you need to disable the 'keylock' feature which is located directly above the slider and then move the slider down.

2. Using the Key Changer

If you want to simply alter the pitch of the song without affecting the speed, use the Key Changer knob.

Look at the centre of the VDJ skin. You have three options there "Mixer" "Video" and "Scratch". Click on Mixer. U should find a knob saying "Key". Its right beside the "Gain" knob. Just fiddle with that knob and u will change the pitch of the song without slowing down or speeding it up. Enjoy.

man i love that track, it takes me back to the times when i used to go cruising....man you guys gotta grab this track, "the origional" not this chopped crap. put it in your car and drive at like 20mph on a sunny day with the track cranked to a nice volume...windows down breeze bowin...man those were some awesome times.

u would put the Pitch key to 33%...then you just lower the pitch slider down to half way...u can either use loop in/loop out...or you can have the same song on two decks and just do it like a Juggle....

like everyone said above me..use the pitch to about +/- 33 % and slow it down till u find out the right amount of screwed and choppiness u want ..lol im fom houston texas myself so i know how much is enough..lol once u get that ..play same song on both deck at "1" beat difference..meaning play one deck one beat ahead of the 2nd one and when u move from channel 1 to ch 2 ..it will make that chopped sound ..took me a loooong time to learn that...the bad thing to learn to dj on your own ..lol
