Topic: Key Change, Speed Change and Queue Technique Questions

Have recently bought VDJ and am trying it at home on my Desktop Computer. I will ultimately be using it on a Laptop for DJ and KJ work.

Have noticed that Key Changing for Karaoke doesn't seem friendly, but maybe I am missing something there? I would like to stay on the main screen and click to increment by semitones. The mouse/knob action for this doesn't seem stable.

Also is there a way to control speed other than with a slider?

For queing, I wonder if you use the Playlist and Search for most files or do you drag and drop to the players after scrolling your folder?

Have some questions here. Anyone out there?
 
I do karaoke with VDJ but have never used the key changer on 5.2.1 much less on the new release 6.0, wish I could be more help. There are not a lot of KJ's here I've found. Where exactly is the key changer feature? I use my equipment to take care of that. I have a TC Helicon VoiceWorks Plus and othe TC Electronic components.

Which controller do you use?

There are all kinds of Karaoke Features on the System.

I don't use any Controller. Shouldn't VDJ take care of that or do you mean mixer?

I'm just trying to tweak my own singing and find an easy, quick way to change keys. Even Winamp has that.
