Topic: Numark DJ I/O "Error in the sound driver of Core Audio"

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My version of virtual DJ is up to date as now I am using a version 5.3 on my MacBook (i have tried version 4.3 on mac and the up to date version on my pc). Every time i try to plug in my New Numark DJ I/O i get a error message in virtual dj that say error in the sound driver of core audio. I have tried using different setups (eg Single output and the one i should be able to use 4 Mix out as there is no Asio option on my versions of mac). I have also obviously tried different sound driver options (1.66, 1.50 and the one that came with the DJ I/O). Also i have tried what most people set different latency settings. I have and NOTHING WORKS. On my PC its a different story again it says "Not enough Asio inputs or outputs or something like that when set to the asio sound driver option (4 channel card). So please HELP. I contacted Numark 4 times and not one reply. Thanks!

One last thing.... It worked for about 3 weeks before this happened. It just stared randomly or at least it appeared to.

We are unable to assist with unlicensed older versions of the software.

For best performance I recommend purchasing a license of Virtual DJ pro or registering your keycode for updates to download the latest version.

WOW - where did you get that version?? The rest of us are on 5.2.1!!!

Buy a license - stop using the cracked version and as Sky said - we will help you then.
 
ill try but my boys on the pirate bay make it so easy and maybe if u didn't ask for an arm and a leg of a price then id consider it screw it ill try Numark again. If not then ima go with Serato like i should of when i started. And good call on the 5.3 i must of looked over that post 3 or 4 times for anything pointing out tht i had a cracked version... obviously your too good

We can and will support you installing the card, we cannot make a unstable version found on the pirate bay work however.
 
It amazes me how people that have no intention to buy the software have the cheek to come here and ask for help.

In previous responses to NLU my answer has always been buy the software. More recently i have tried to help people then ask them to buy the software when their system is running correctly (trial users).

You my friend (MTRADIO) are the very reason why GENUINE trial users struggle to get help on these forums because we get flooded with help requests from cracked users. Why on earth should we help someone with no intention to buy.

Alrite boys.... U got me thinking mayb it is the versions tht im using im considering buying it. I honestly like the software its just a big price tag. If i am to purchase the software ami then welcome to help? Lol i realize i probably pissed you boys off thts why i ask.I really need help with this as i am just trying to get started with this kinda stuff
 
I understand your concerns about the price tag - so did i. But i do not regret my purchase at all.

You do have another option - which would be to purchase a controller which has VDJ bundled with it. It won't be the Pro version but is a Limited Edition License. You could then get a discount for the Pro license in due course.

The choice is yours. But yes you would get considerably more help if you have some kind of license and showed your support for Virtual DJ.
