Topic: Behringer B-Control DeeJay BCD2000 DJ Mixer or the BCD3000? - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

So I was thinking of changing the M-Audio X-Session Pro to the BCD2000 or the BCD3000, which look real nice and it's more what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find something that let's me use the jog and I dont have to get CDJ's again. Trying to keep it strictly laptop and midi controller, so far this one looks good.

One question if anyone can help out, what's the difference between the 2000 and the 3000, besides the color changes?

Id say stay away from the BCD stuff. There have been many issues with them. Id opt for the Hercules RMX, the Vestax VCI100, etc. I personally have the Numark DMC2 and love it, but if your after touch sensitive jogs go for the Denon HC4500.

Hi The BCD 2000 was the first in that range not a lot of difference between the 3000, i had the 3000 to start with but have now progressed onto the RMX which is the difference between Chalk and Cheese.

Hi all

Got to agree with Brian here. I have a BCD2000 collecting dust because it was almost unusable for giging (too unstable whatever software I used). Its a shame because its a neat little unit. I now have the DMC2 and external mixer.

Just cant recommend the BCD2000 to anyone.

Some of us managed to get the BCD2000 to work with very good stability, however it took months of tinkering with it, if you don't have that sort of time RMX is the best way to go.

Ok, so I went w the M-Audio Trigger Fingers...

Any advice???

If you like to have problems buy Behringer

otherwise buy an Hercules RMX ;)

Maybe an Omni Control would meet your needs it has an ultra low latency souncard (for preview) and a strong metallic housing.

Sky , i looked at that Omni Control ..... how good is the sound card ? also does it output 2 outs and you can monitor 1 of them or does it have a 3rd output for the headphones ?

just concerned that for only 350$ you get a controller plus soundcard , wondering if any shortcuts being taken on quality somewhere ?

i would never get a cheap looking unit like a herc , because i wouldn't want wedding clients especially to see anything that looks like a kids toy , so i am interested because they say it is so solid .......

i know a jillion people use the herc ...... it still looks like something from a cracker jack box .....the soundcard isn't powerful or quality audio either

Ok, well I looked at the Omni Control and the Herc and they both go for the same price. These look like it would fit the needs that I am looking for but spending that much $ on them I'm not sure if I should & just keep to cdj's and the TCCD's which is better.

What I'm trying to do is use my laptop and a midi controller or device that let's me run VDJ without me going back to the laptop (except for choosing the track) because in that case I will just use it as a stand alone which I'm good at already. I know all the short keys which I havent seen a controller do yet.

Help!!!

It has two outputs one for master and one for preview or two outputs for an external mixer.
It uses the same ultralow technology as the DJIO.

Instead of focusing on having a DVS system the unit focuses around ruggedness and build quality.

If you dont need a soundcard you may also be interested in the Stealth Control.

Perhaps try them out at your local Guitar Center.

Oh and if I cant find a stable controller then I would have to move from VDJ to either tracktor or ableton that have controller that are much much better. Help out here!!!

anyone??? help with situation?

Goodbye VDJ, hello Traktor Pro!

4 decks and trigger fingers works with it as well as x-session pro!

can the Behringer BCD2000 B-Control Deejay be used for virtual dj?

I had a BCD-2000 it worked but was very buggie, definitely not pro dj material as behringer drivers not up to par, also mic not worikng with VDJ .
BCD-3000 works no better.
OK there cheap better to save up and buy a more popular mixer.

I hear a lot of negative feedback about the BCD200 which is an entry level unit. I have had almost flawless performance running a BCD2000 with Vista ultimate 32bit mixing video. Its has been stable for me :-). I even bought a backup. I have a Total Control which has more functions but no pitch bend. I am now using the BCD2000 with Numark V7's, it works. Sound card in BCD2000 is low quality & mic doesnt work. I use an additional mixer for eq & mics.

I have a BCD2000 and it has worked perfectly fine for me for the past year and half that I've had it for. I don't use it at gigs all the time, but it has come in handy from time to time, and never had a problem with it.

As a matter of fact, this past Friday I was doing a gig in which due to a lack of space, I had to rely on my bcd2000 and not problems at all.

That's me wearing the black shirt, and short hair.

I would not recommend to do a huge event with this controller, but trust me, it is a neat little controller that works perfectly fine if all parameters are set right.

is the Hercules DJ control MP3 e2 Dual Deck DJ Controller working with vdj pro?
