im going to be getting one as soon as march 25....(http://www.pssl.com/) WOW why so late numark. I First seen the NS7 for a release date of May in 08 now still not a totally released product. Ive been on the waiting list patiently waiting thinking why havent they released it to a dj like myself... moneys there just not the product. If anyone knows more about this product than speak up... believe me lets talk because this may be midi but will begin to ranking it up there with ttx as a professional unit!
Im in a jam and need new equipment now! Im pissed at numark, is anybody else? Thank god im getting a computer stand and itch software with it otherwise id be more angry.

Stay tuned to dj bigdad for the new NS7 sound soon. (It should be nuts)

yeah and they still have my money from a damaged vci-300 they sent me and failed to refund.... 3 weeks now.

but back to this post i hope the ns7 preforms. i for one gave up on the wait
 
is that clock official?
pssl has been changing its dates for quite a while...im gettin tired of waitin...of course ill wait at the end since i haveno eyes for other than the ns7...but damn id love a date id like to mark in my calendar for sure

few things to consider (that changed my mind) it is just a controller and a controller is only as good as the software blah blah .... but even if the ns7 boast are true and it runs other midi based software there are no buttons to control most of the effects so you will be using your keyboard for that. or a seperate midi controller.
that is why i choose the vci-300 for the same price as the ns7 i got the vci-300 a laptop stand and a case

the videos i saw for the ns7 were impressive but a few things i wondered about like the need to 'turn off the motor' to do certain features

This product is all about quality and feel its important to us it is fully tested and developed before release.

Take all the time you need.

I want a product that works the way it should. Not a rush job. For the money i'll fork over for this thing....IT BETTER WORK FLAWLESS!!!

£1349 on djstore.co.uk (who are official resellers) + the cost of a laptop or computer and DJ software. That is insane.

I would maybe pay that for Denon or Pioneer, but that's a lot of money for Numark gear.

I currently use the DN-HC4500 and it's absolutely perfect, and a steal for £400
 
just was going to post this for people in the UK, good service from these guys got the rmx from them last year

It's £1349 in the UK equivalent price to buy in the USA is £914.58, right, now can someone tell me why there is such a disparity in price, it beats the hell out of me why two different country's can have such a difference in price for the same item, is it because the US is left threaded or what....

and another thing where in the world is it manufactured, maybes that will give a clue to the price difference
 
1 - Rip-off Britain

2 - Numark price UK gear high to cover any fluctuations in the pound, and to cover "localization issues" being a US company.

3 - Numark are not going to sell many at that price, and it's just too bulky to take in to clubs with limited space in the DJ box.

I personally know the guys that run Djstore, they operate from my home town. Top service and competitive pricing. Well recommended.

I work in a disco shop during the day, and have seen first hand the issues with price increases - the suppliers' prices have gone up considerably in the last few months, and we've been forced to pass that increase onto the customer.

The problem is that pretty much all kit is made in China nowadays. Because their own currency isn't worth diddly-squat anymore, the Chinese factories deal in american dollars. There was a time when we were getting almost 2 dollars to the pound - at the moment it's somewhere around 1.5, if that. Consequently, everything costs more...
 
i know the exchange rate and that cannot be blamed on the price difference, it is nearly a third cheaper in the states, same as when the hercules rmx was released and we had a good echange rate of nearly two to one... it was even cheaper on the european mainland, compared to the uk, be good to know if the manufacturers charged the same costs to dealers and it was the retailers who inflated the prices, or is it the manufacturer who is setting the prices for what the local market can bear.

now this is just not a pop at numark, it goes out to all the reps of the manufacturers represented on the forums.
