Hi guys,

Just wondering is there a plugin or addon or some sort that can allow you show an animated logo in VDJ, whether animated GIF or FLASH or wateva else....

Help me out....

isnt that clipbank? just load the files in the banks and it should work.
 
there are a couple of plug ins you can use, show logo (jpg) which you can fade over what ever you are showing in the videopanel and then there's clip bank for video files (i use mpeg2), if you need anything for clip bank pm me i have one or two clips that you can use...
 
am not sure if you understood me.

what i meant is place an animated logo in one corner of the video screen like with the showlogo plugin but this time something animated. Would the clip bank do this?
 
No, there's no masking/keying available in the clipbank, ie you wouldn't be able to stick an animated logo over another video...

so how would you go about it, djsherz?

for example is there a realtime video program that works with VDJ that would allow you to overlay the motion graphics before they got to the output screen?
 
at the present time you would have to layer your animated logo onto your vids before playing in vdj
 
thats an awesome idea, animated gifs and multiple logos (dj logo + club logo)
 
would also reduce burnin reported by some of the vj's on here
 
And support for flash videos would be very very cool too.

It would be great if the clipbank could be modified to enable masking - ie take the black or white background and replace with video. Who knows whats round the corner in the next release...
 
and how was the flash playback plugin, sbdj?

I do not think that you can do that live.Even the homeboyz or blackstar dont do it live.They mix the videos and then add flash logos after mixing..........using sony vegas
 
could be any editor you want not just vegas.

It worked lol... it was never made available however. It's in my folder of as-yet-unfinished plugins!
 
so SBDJ, wat wud motivate you to move it from that folder to the "MY GREATEST PLUGIN YET" folder? :)

Am serious about this...just so u know.... :)
 
oh yeah, and henrykalama, u shud give me a visit, i can produce a show like that LIVE! and u only need one DJ to cover everything from the main video mix to sound & transition effects, scratching, sms text requests, and alittle of the post-production stuff.... :)
