Hi Guys
This Is my first post so firstly hello
Right cutting to the chase
been using cue for 2-3 years for karaoke works fine love it
Late last year decided to use as my sole machine for dj'ing so bought numark dj i/o
to let me mix better after a few glitches machine locking up while recursing I decided to
purchase a new state of the art laptop windoiws vista 64 bit big harddrive etc
as i also wanted to use the video side and have a large back catalogue of promo only dvd's uk vresions
heres my questions
first problem
dj i/o doesnt work on new machine as its 32 bit I need 64 Bit nobody can provide drivers neither can i find a 64 bit similar product.?
any ideas ?
second problem
when ripping using cue's own ripping program it always comes up with a error on last track ?
any ideas
third problem
when ripping would love to be able to title the tracks automaticaly the tick box asks if i want to get track names from mv-db
i tick it but it doesnt come up like i said in top post all my discs are promo only uk versions
any ideas
fourth problem
when using dvd ripper prgram in cue it's ripping the disc and a whole disc is coming in at around 6.5 gig now a dvd is supposed to hold
around 4.7 gig so its ripping in higher quality than the disc
but my problem is the file size is too big do i rip at lower quality bearing in mind i will never play out using hi def just standard composite video
so does the files need to be this big???
my method is average disc is 6.5 gig even with a terabite of portable harddrive this will only give me 153 discs to a disc
working on i need a back up drive as well starts getting expensive ?
is there a way to rip differently in cue or do i use a different program if so what is it and will it get track and artiste name as well
any advice would be well apreciated
thanks in advance
Dean

64 bit drivers are currently in testing and will be released when this is complete.
Some disk producers can use non standard recording methods.
Who produced the disks?
Perhaps an alternative software such as smart ripper would give you the ripping options you would like.

In answer to your FOURTH question...
youre getting 6.5gb from your PromoOnly DVD because they use DualLayer discs.
the other DVD companys use standard DVDr (Single Layer) and they sacrifice qualith over quantity.

Hi All
I have been useing cue for soom time now for video and on the hole everything has been well, but i descided to upgrade my laptop
NOW Heres the problem !!!
The new laptop is a higher spec than my old one and i have set all my options in cue the same as my old laptop, but now when playing video i get an almighty BUZZ and a slight freeze of picture as it fades from 1 track to another and after spending hours on this it seems to be as cue as puts in its "cue piont" at the start of that track, it also seems to be a dame sight slower at loading the video tracks than ever ???
