Topic: Can Virtual DJ Play MKV Files?

Anyone being able to do video's in mkv format with VDJ? If so, how?

ha i figured it out..just rename it to mp4 and wha-la.

In case anyone was wondering that's how you do it.
 
Even easier. Just go into CONFIG. Click on the CODECS tab and add the MKV extension.
 
I tried that and it didn't work, that is when I made my post. :)
 
Works for me. Can't imagine why it wouldn't work for you. You may want to double check to see if you made a typo. Also, make sure your MKV files actually have a MKV extension. Renaming every file just isn't necessary.
 
thanks for the words. ill go back and retry. it would save some work going forward.
 
You need to install Codec pack like K-lite and it will play, just add it in codecs section.
