- super-smooth video scratching technology
- internal decompression engine for most standard formats (no need for external codecs)
- transition plugins (with SDK)
- video FX plugins (with SDK)
- VirtualDJ can use DXVA (DirectX® Video Acceleration) and Nvidia® PureVideo® for hardware dvd-decoding
- karaoke decoder can read zipped files
New audio features:
- new sound effect "BeatGrid"
- timecode mode "1&2: master / 3&4: headphones" added
- timecode in CD mode with antiskip enabled will use absolute needledrop
- timecode does not jump to needle position when new song is loaded
- "SpeedLoad" registry tweak to balance priority between video smoothness and fullspeed loading
