It's time to play professional

Each DJConsole from Hercules comes with a special edition of VirtualDJ, brought to you for free, so that you can start playing with your new console right away. However, if you plan to use this product professionally, you should consider upgrading to the full professional version. The version shipped with DJConsoles are special versions of VirtualDJ, based on the core VirtualDJ engine but with a few features stripped out (the software shipping with first-generation DJConsole is based on VirtualDJ v1.09, the software shipping with DJControlMP3 and DJConsoleMK2 is based on VirtualDJ v3.4, and the software shipping with DJConsole RMX is based on VirtualDJ v5.0).

• Stand-alone use: VirtualDJ DJC Edition cannot be run without a DJConsole plugged in. The pro version can be taken back home without bringing the console along.
• SoundConfig: VirtualDJ Pro lets you use any soundcard configuration you want. Use two or three soundcards, use ASIO or WDM drivers, use an external mixer and send both the right deck and left deck on different outputs, send the samples, the preview, the headphone, and each decks on different outputs, etc... The possibilities are endless.
• Timecoded vinyls: VirtualDJ DJC Edition will only let you test the timecoded vinyls for 5mn on a DJConsoleMK2. With the pro version, you will be able to enjoy the pleasure of true turntablism feelings combined with the easiness of digital DJing.
• DJC Mapper: With VirtualDJ Pro, you can use a different mapper to modify the behavior of the console. Use one of those already made by other users, or program your own using our SDK.
• MIDI: VirtualDJ Pro lets you use any MIDI source to control anything inside VirtualDJ. Just plug the MIDI device, and set a new shortcut for the actions you want to be triggered.
• XP10, DAC3, DVinyl, WebCam, etc...: VirtualDJ Pro is compatible with many other different devices.
• Fullscreen video: VirtualDJ DJC Edition can only mix and scratch music videos in a small window. The pro version lets you send the video fullscreen to another video output of your computer, or simply resize the video output window the size you want.
• DMX lights: VirtualDJ Pro lets you control all your lights directly through DMX.
• Global Database: If you have an Internet connection, you can browse and play any music directly streamed from the global Napster database, and it's completely legal (need a valid Napster subscription).
• HQ MasterTempo: VirtualDJ Pro offers a higher quality sound engine.
• Network Sync: Synchronised several computers together through network.
• ... Plus all the new features that have been added since version 3.4...
