Hey, I am not totally unstanding how to enter the code to the midi map list what do i need to type in?
From post " thats easy, if you want to do it the proper way, just load them into different effect slots, it doesn't matter if you can't see them on a skin you can still assign different effects to each slot.. I recommend keeping slot 1 free so you can select any effect on the skin and activate it with the 1st button"
Button 1= effect 1 active
button 2= effect 2 select 'Beatgrid' & effect 2 active
button 3= effect 3 select 'flippindouble' & effect 3 active
button 4= effect 4 select 'echo' & effect 4 active
if you want button 1 to just be flanger use this instead
button 1= effect 1 select 'flanger' & effect 1 active
Ideally you want to map the leds to
led 1= effect 1 active ? on : off
led 2= effect 'Beatgrid' active ? on : off
led 3= effect 'flippindouble' active ? on : off
led 4= effect 'echo' active ? on : off

Hey! Hope you are good with a wall post, but you seem to be the olny person who ressponded to my question and I need help! My cross fader isnt working and the answer to your question if it moves on the skin when you move it on the controller is yes it does move on the skin....

Hello! Your VDJscript help in forums has been excellent. Hope you're ok with a wall post to ask a question. Wanted to know if there's a verb or syntax to create a "while-true" loop so I can trigger the bass EQs on a deck pair to smoothly swap over. I have them as kills at the moment and it's too harsh, I'd like a half second swap so deck one goes from 50-0 and deck two from 0-50 for a mid-mix emphasis swap. I could use repeat to do it but I'd like a single button trigger. Thanks in advance fof any help. |

Also still struggling to this as i'm having all red led for DECK PFL & LINE-IN LED and i want have another color on line-in possibley yellow is the best.

Hey Bro, thanks for your help, this is what i'm asking is about the zoom view.
"zoom 'far' ? zoom 'default' : zoom 'default' ? zoom 'near' : zoom 'far'"
The syntax is working but when i change the behaviour of that by adding the shift commands it will stack up at the 3rd scenes and doesnt work. The current button i have is the track search which i have already made this action=goto +24 240ms, then i want to add the zoom view selection to that by having the shift key. Thanks

Hi, Synthet1C, Would you please help me how to chain the selection/commands in VDJ like: I'm trying to use and assign the 3-modes RHYTHM VIEW of VDJ "zoom 'default', zoom 'near', zoom 'far' like a sequence, everytime you press the button while the shift button is press it goes to the next zoom selection. I want to assign this in one of the buttons using the 'Shift' commands as i have already assign that certain button to some function. The current function of the button is the FWD_SEARCH (to search the tracks) which i have already assigned this function as: =go to +4% 200ms. Thank you so much. |

Hi, I need some help in mapping the "ENDLESS ROTARY ENCODER BUTTONS" to do 2-Functions in the pitch slider to do BPM matching.
1.) To have fine adjustments of the pitch slider when rotating the buttons forward / backward to match the BMP easily in smaller and finer steps.
2.) To have coarse adjustments of the pitch slider when rotating the buttons forward / backward while the buttons is pushed down in order to have big and coarse steps.
DEFINITION FILES:
<button note="0x11" channel="12" name="PITCH_RESET" deck="1" /> (This is the value when the button is PUSH DOWN) (down 127 up-0)
<encoder cc="0x24" channel="12" name="PITCH_SLIDER" deck="1" /> (This is the value when the button is rotated forward /backward) (0-127)
MAPPERS FILES:
<map value="PITCH_RESET" action="pitch_reset 0%" /> (this line is working great)
<map value="PITCH_SLIDER" action="param_greater 0 ? pitch +0.01% : pitch -0.01%" /> (this line is working great with smooth & fine adjustments)
This makes me crazy as i have already tried a lot of syntax variation but it does not work. Hope somebody could help me some few syntax to try it out. Thank you so much.
