So the first build was about interchangeability and testing, but we needed to lose some weight.
The coffin/mac/icy dock system needed to have a downsize/weight option using the same computer and drive server.
I found the Odyssey flight case in Vegas and along with the wait for the VMS came the wait for the case because it was so new.
So I began with power management mounting a power strip into the case under the slide tray.
The first revision removed the lighted keyboard as it really isn't necessary and caused me to lean over.
In it's place went a Shure SLX 4 wireless system, hard wiring the antennas to the rails.
Next was a powered usb hub and a scan converter giving options for all but hdmi outputs.
This gave me permanent power and usb options for my drive server right in the case.
The more I use this the more I like it.
Over other units I like the jog size, the DJ Dad mapper and the total compactness of the whole set up which takes less than 2 to set up.
In the end, due to the microphone problems, I went back to my tried and tested MAudio FTP for sound along with the Reloop Digital Dj which completed this set up perfectly.

I really like the feel and lay out of this controller, my mic lays to the right.
This one's a keeper unless the 6K blows my mind next week at AC.
Well the 6k did blow my mind and is now the final stop on this tour.

I love how these 2.5" drive enclosures fit between the 6k and case.
