Did a little college radio and thats where I got the bug. Since then, I've looked for a program to use for mixing and came across Virtual DJ. There may be other programs, but I love it. Got so use to the mouse and keyboard, using the XP-10 was hard to get use to, although, got a great deal on a Hercules and that works better than the mouse and KB. I mix for my wife and 12YO daughter. My daughter loves the idea she can ask for songs and have them done usually in a day or so. Always looking to fine tune my mixing, currently into Hip-hop, breakbeats, trance, progressive houseand old school freestyle. Love the beats, give me beats over vocals anyday, although the two go together nicely. Looking for a program to remix songs, would love to be able to remix like the pros do. Until then, I settle for the mixing on VDJ.
