PCDJ DAC2

PCDJ DAC 2 BUTTON GROUPS

If you are trying to customize the mapping of your DAC2 please consider the following:

by hardware design, only one button from every group is detected when multiple buttons are pressed.
They're read from left to right in the table and only the last button from group is registered.
For example if you press "shift" and "waitlist", only "waitlist" is registered as hold. So you can use "shift" only with buttons from different group than group 1.

Group 1: SHIFT => PREVIEW => FORWARD => GROUP => BACKWARD => WAITLIST
Group 2: MINUS => PLUS => MATCH => CUE => PLAYPAUSE
Group 3: FX deck2 => FX deck 1 => LOAD deck1 => LOAD deck2

WHEEL, OUTERWHEEL and PITCH works independently

IF you want to use plugin RIAA and connect VDJ to your mixer thru phono input, it's most likely the signal is strong so you have to make some attenuation to it. Fisrt set gain to minimum and also the sound output of your soundcard set to about 5-10%.

This way you get quite good results but as you probably know the noise level of your sondcard is constant. And if you lower you volume the signal is almost the same as noise.
So to get better Signal/noise ratio you should set your volume to maximum (that does not make distrotion
using normal (line in) inputs and use this circuit for each channel.
