After DJing mainly funk and house music from the 80ies to the 90ies in clubs and on private venues in south-western Germany, I quitted the music biz for doing a "real" job and djed only on rare occasions over the last years. My old Technics 1200 record players became covered with dust but they never got rusty. Some months ago I rediscovered my love for electronic dance music and the art of djing after staying in Berlin for a week. Since I do not make my living by entertaining the crowd anymore, I have the freedom to select where I play and what I play. I saw many trends come and going ..... House and Techno are still there, and will be there - forever. Keep on rocking....be different...and never forget: It is the DJ that drives the crowd roaring. |
