 | FLUXXDJ (Professional edition user) wrote on Sat 24 Jul 10 @ 11:15 am Hey man. Every controller has a mapper file and a definition file. Together they make each controller work. A total of two files for each controller. The mapper file belongs in the mappers subfolder of VDJ. The definition file goes in the devices subfoloder of VDJ. If it is not there then that is your problem with the NSFX not working. Re download the mapper file package from the downloads section under controllers or tools I believe. You will have to put the files where they belong. As far as video goes. I use netsearch mainly but my other source to get bundles of videos is to search through torrent sites. As I am not allowed to discuss on here, but you can do the searching through the sites yourself. Takes alot of time and patience because sometimes you get crap quality videos. Sometimes you score. c-ya |

 | FLUXXDJ (Professional edition user) wrote on Mon 12 Jul 10 @ 6:21 pm Yo. Check this out.. Make sure in the Vdj sub folder titled mappers that the nsfx mapper file is there. Then look in that same folder and see if there is a definition file for the nsfx. If it is there it needs to be moved to the folder titled devices. The two files that make the nsfx work must be in those two folders in VDJ 6.1THen everything should be fine. I got my nsfx mapped out so that only the left side does effects for both decks and the right side does video and samples only. Now thats dope. Makes it less confusing. |

ITs pretty cool too. One thing I have done to trigger my effects quickly without having to turn a knob to find the right one. Is that I have mapped the effects to my F1-F12 keys on my keyboard. The command i gave these keys is "effect select" and then the assigned effect. Then i use the parameters knobs on the nsfx and the activate effect button on the nsfx. This allows you to triiger effects really quick because you can find them quickly. cya |
