My name is Daniel Wisdom aka Wizzy, Dreadlox (Vj name: Digital Wiz , VJ Wiz or Vj Dread

I live in the town of Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica, West Indies 30 mins from Montego Bay and 15 mins from Negril.

By profession I am a teacher (computer) for over 13 years, and operate a small business (computer education), specializing in Information Technology Training, Graphic Design, Desktop publishing, Internet Cafe, Multimedia Training, Audio and Video Editing... and added recently a Digital Photo Studio.

I came in contact with virtual dj through a friend (cracked version at the time) and realized the potential of the software. Up to this time, i had never mixed before. While trying to convince two of my brothers who were professional djs (one working at a radio station and the other a Club Dj for over 10 years), i somehow tried mixing to show them the advantages of virtual dj. That was what got me started.

Off the bat I bought the program off the internet.. which was pretty difficult to do, considering the fact that i did not have any international credit card. A friend assisted.

Turned out to be the best decision I ever did. With a great technical support team behind me i was able to undertstand and acquire certain basic skills towards mixing as well as obtain equipment.... Thanks to the great help i received from Richard Hodgkins (mp3jrick). I will always be indebted to him.

With the release of VDJ with video capability I saw an avenue that was as far I was concerned not being done anywhere in the island. I decided to go live with Video Mixing


I now offer live video mixing, along with multimedia projector and big screen rentals. So far I have done a couple of gigs.. and continue to practice on my mixing as I strive to become a professional VJ
