Thank you for visiting my page! I was introduced to VirtualDJ in 2007 when working in a club in downtown Toronto. The computer at that time was not being used because they were not sure they wanted to take a chance. I had a look at it, researched and talked them into putting into service 4 nights a week. I was impressed!! We never looked back!! I have been DJin' since about 1986-7. Started out doing school dances :)... Still doin' them too! Hold residence at several Bars within the Toronto area. What my rig contains (core stuff) related to VirtualDJ... Win7 Pro & Virtual DJ 7 Pro HP DV6 Laptop Pioneer CDJ-2000's Pioneer DJM-900 nexus mixer Thats it... No need for additional equipment, sound card IO devices etc... ** Below has been taken out of the rig but leaving it here as a reference as it has worked flawlessly ** Main Computer Custom Built (Rackmount Case): Windows 7 Home Edition 32bit Virtual DJ Professional 7 Intel Quad Core 2.9ghz + ASUS P5E3 Mainboard 4gb DDR 3 Sapphire ATI HD5450 PRO PCI-e (Component Out for Video) 2tb WD Drives M-Audio Delta 1010 PCI 8x8 Audio 2 x Denon DN-S3700 1 x Denon DN-HC4500 1 x Denon DN-X900 Mixer (Using fader control for video fades in Virtual DJ) All 3 controllers used at same time! Backup Computer: Windows 7 Home Edition 32bit Virtual DJ Professional 7 HP ZD8000 Laptop 3ghz HT 2gb DDR2 ATI Radion x600 Mobile (using Composite output for video) External WD MyBook (USB) M-Audio FastTrack Pro 4x4 (USB) Both systems are setup the same way. Did not disable any services. Still running windows aero. Works great. |
