Born in Barcelona, DJK (DJ Kike) began his old ways as a DJ back in the year 1985 spinning on Colleges private parties, communities and friends and playing music from the 70's and 80's. This age forge his musical character. Clearly influenced by the 70's Funky, DJK is a lover of "Bass" music with the bass as lead instrument. During his University period, and because of his character as an entrepreneur, he organize many parties. The diversity of audience that would gather at these events have given a great ability to understand the psychology of the audience in front of him, which lets him improvise completely in all his sesions Focused in the mix, always looking for perfection mixing tunes especially when he spins has the occasion to play styles as Club, Dance, House, Techno or Trance. Passionate about technology, has passed through all stages as a DJ. From Vinyl LENCO indirect traction turntables and after TECHNICS direct traction, through the first CD's Denon and Pioneer to the current PC technology and MIDI controllers. He performed the first full-session VJ (VJ) in Barcelona, thanks to new technologies, spinning full sessions mixing live music videos. With an experience of more than two decades as a DJ, on his resume includes clubs like Jimmy'z, East Coast, Desigual, Sol, La Sal, La Villa, Bocayma, Universal, Opium, Astoria, among many others. He is also leading the first state association of DJ's at Spain, "AEPADJ" which is part of its board of directors. |
