discjockeydoc

I've been a part-time DJ / KJ since 1993. My nickaname, "Doc," was given to me by an old friend years ago because I was a paramedic with aspirations toward family medicine as a career. As I continue on my path, I keep spinnin' and VDJ is one of the best tools in my arsenal ;)

A Brief Bio

Sat 27 Oct 07 @ 11:45 pm

My friends call me "Doc." I have been a part-time DJ/KJ since 1993...What I have afectionately decided to label "back in the day," when we used those enormous Pioneer laser discs, and for audio, we have always used CDs...Until I discovered Virtual DJ, that is ;) Man, those things are heavy when you have alot of them!

When we first started, we played mostly bars, but soon shifted to private events, which we continue to do now.

Although I still don't DJ full time (not that I wouldn't like to), the extra money it brings in sure helps. Who knows...Maybe some day I'll take the risk and go for it.

Feel free to find out more about DJ Doc and his company at: http://www.doctordjct.com

  • 2 GB RAM (PC2700, 333mHz)
  • ATI Mobility Radeon video card (64MB, dedicated)
  • Music stored on external firewire drive (160GB, 7200RPM)
