There are basic things that you need to start you of being a DJ. But to start DJ’ing then there are number of factors that you have to consider and some of these are whether you have got the time and patience as other DJ's take years after being recognize like the real pro-dj's. Another if you have got the money to support as, the more you develop your skills the more you demand to upgrade your gears. As you can see there is a lot of hard work that goes into DJ’ing but the main things are to have the skills and talents it doesn't matter what resources and equipment you have.

In most cases most disc jockeys came into the trade as an outgrowth of their love for music, or for dancing, good DJ's are basically musicians who composed and make music not because they are sound engineers or sound tech. It is a fun game to play, trying to guess what peoples are into it. Let's keep on spinning mates....

Some Of The Windows Shortcut Keys That Could Be Useful In Djing

Fri 03 Feb 12 @ 4:14 am

Using the mouse while DJ'ing is somewhat irritable and could be a bit hassle to either any of the task on your window screens.
I have selected and made some of these keyboard shortcuts to work even faster while Djing. The Win represents the key in your computer keyboard that has a Windows Icon on it and the Alt is the key on your computer keyboard that has Alt printed on it.

Alt + Left Arrow = Navigate to parent folder, or browse back through folders in explorer.

Alt + Right Arrow = Navigate to subfolders in explorer.

Alt + P = Show and hide preview pane.

Alt + F4 = Close active window or programs.

Win + Left Arrow = Dock the window to the left side of the screen.

Win + Right Arrow = Dock the window to the ight side of the screen.

Win + Up Arrow = Maximize the screen.

Win + Down Arrow = Restore and minimize the screen.

Win + M = Minimizes everything.

Win + Home = Minimizes & restores all open windows except the active window.

Win + (+ & -) = Zoom in and zoom out your currently open programs or folders window screen.

Win + P = External Display Option Setup (Computer Only, Extend Display, Duplicate Display, Projector Only).

Win + 8 = Toggle any Windows that is open[/list]

Win + X = Window Mobility Center (To Customize Batteries, Display Contrast, Sounds Volume, External Display Option).

Win + Space Bar = Peek and See the Deskstop while programs or active windows are open (Hold down the win icon key and while pressing or unpressing the space bar).

Win + T = Toggle and Focus task bar entry.

Now the next project i'm trying to looking at is ask Virtual DJ team to add or include and allowed scripts to be able to assign shortcut
key on the controller to launch programs.
