The built in one has omissions and limitations. In this set, every button is independently mapped. There are two mapper files: (1) a "Standard" mapper file which reflects somewhat typical behavior and (2) an "Alternate" mapper file which reflects my personal needs. Take your pick. Either one can be tweaked according to your whim. Since I got this working, I feel like the $175 I spent on the BCD3000 is money extremely well spent. Make sure you read the "READ ME" file for details on both maps. If you don't read it, you'll be completely lost when using the Alternate map.
