Well, i've just built myself another PC for dj'ing...and thought it would be nice to have a tutorial on building a machine for any would be do-it-yourself'ers out there.

The main thing to remember is that building a new computer need not be a daunting task...think of it as a learning tool that you can use to better your knowledge of all things computer related...(",)

The main things to consider (not necessarily in this order!) are

1/ What are you looking for?
2/ How much will it cost?
3/ Do you have enough basic knowledge to complete the task?

If you are unsure about point 1 or 2, do a bit of digging. Find out about stock availability and costs in your area. Make sure you know exactly what you want the machine for. It's always a good idea to write things down!!!

Anyway, once you have your (compatible) hardware choice in order, go spending! Don't be too surprised if you end up spending a few hundred pounds. If it's a dedicated music machine, the more expensive the better.
