Hey mate :) I'm 32, I live in Belgium, but I have dual nationality French-Belgian (so I both endure crap jokes about the French and the Belgian). I began in 2001 with Atomix 1.11 and I have used VDJ since it was released in July 2003 (don't tell me VDJ isn't that good or I will release a WANTED poster!) I listen mainly electronic music. I listened a lot of techno, the real techno (the great time: 1995 at Cherry Moon, Lokeren). Since then Kheyo, I turned my ears more towards Deep or a slower music (lounge, ambient, chill out, etc). And for the commercial music that pollutes our radios, I get away from it. I like 80's music, new Jazz (Pat Metheny or similar artists), Franck Sinatra (his "best of" is really good), Picasso (El Maestro), and readi (mngy bible: "Les pensées de Marcus Aurelius, the ex Roman emperor) Finally, I like beautiful, vast, infinity. Transported by the impossible, my dream would be to adventure myself in the open space and lose my self there forever (with my mp3's, my library as a capsule-time, my interspaces-time lift to drop in all those who are important for me). j'ai 30 ans, j'habite à Bruxelles en Belgique, mais j'ai la double nationalité franco-belge (donc je me colte doublement les vannes à deux bales sur les français et les belges). Je mixe depuis Atomix 1.11 et j'ai bifurqué vers VDJ depuis sa sortie le 1er juillet 2003 (que l'on ne me sorte pas que VDJ n'est pas si terrible ou j'affiche un wanted).
J'écoute essentiellement de la musique électronique. J'ai beaucouuuuup écouté la techno, la vraie (ma grande époque : 1995 au Cherry Moon, Lokeren). Depuis Kheyo, je tends l'oreille davantage vers la Deep ou une rythmique plus lente encore (lounge, ambient, etc). Quant à la musique commerciale qui pollue nos ondes radiophoniques, je m'en cire les orteils.
J'aime les années 80, le Jazz très contemporain (Pat Metheny ou artiste de semblable calibre), Franck Sinatra (son "best of" est un régal), Picasso (El Maestro), lire (mon livre de chevet : Les Pensées de Marc Aurèle, l'ex Empereur Romain).
Enfin, j'aime le beau, le grand, l'infini. Transporté par la démesure, mon rêve serait de m'aventurer ds le vide intersidéral et de m'y perdre à tout jamais (muni de mes mp3, de ma bibliothèque, et de mon ascenseur spatio-temporel personnel pour retrouver tous ceux qui me sont chers).
Un dernier petit mot ; mars 2002, célébrissime topic de Mario, Phenryll se surnome The Master of Posts : la légende Phenryll est née ; an zéro du nouveau calendrier révolutionnaire...
